Holly Rippon Butler

Holly provides strategic support for projects, including policy development, advocacy campaigns, and coalition building, with a focus on nonprofits. She brings together a lifetime of experience in agriculture and over a decade of helping lead the growth of a national non-profit to her work as an independent consultant supporting projects across the food system. As the Land Policy Director for the National Young Farmers Coalition, she led the development of tools and training, built coalitions, wrote reports, and managed complex projects to advance equitable policy change at the state, local, and federal levels, with a focus on land access. She has a Master’s in Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment, focused on land use and sustainable agriculture.
