Khadija Jahfiya
Partner
Khadija provides strategic management for projects, philanthropy, and public policy support focusing on food systems and nutrition policy issues. She partners with leading foundations representing over $300 billion in assets, as well as coalitions and mission-driven organizations, to lead initiatives that combine strategic convening, policy insight, and community-informed approaches. Her work often bridges philanthropy and advocacy, drawing on experience in health policy, food is medicine, and regional food infrastructure. Previously, Khadija served as a Professional Staff Member on the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, where she worked to advance policies related to food waste, domestic nutrition programs, local and regional food systems, urban agriculture, support for underserved producers, Tribal communities, and federal nominations. Khadija holds a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) from the Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Spelman College.
